The ACM Wireless of the Students, by the Students, and for the Students Workshop

The S³ workshop provides a unique venue for graduate students around the world to discuss research ideas for mobile and wireless systems. The workshop is organized by a student-run TPC. S³ aims to foster early-career development among students, expose them to the workings of an academic life, and encourage student leadership and participation in the research community.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Wireless of the Students, by the Students, and for the Students Workshop provides a unique venue for graduate students around the world to present, discuss, and exchange ideas on cross-cutting research on mobile wireless networks. As its name suggests, the workshop is organized by students, and the technical sessions are given by student presenters.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Battery-free networks, RFID, NFC, and backscatter
Low-power and long-range networks
Satellite and non-terrestrial networks
Architectures, protocols, and algorithms for wireless networks
Security and privacy of mobile and wireless systems
Measurements and data science for mobile ecosystems
Sensing with mobile devices, wearables, and robots
Machine learning for mobile and wireless research
Millimeter-wave, terahertz, and next-generation physical layers
Experimental testbeds and reproducibility

Submissions will be handled electronically via HotCRP (link to be added). Use the ACM proceedings templates. Typical format: up to 3 pages (including references), 10pt, double-column ACM sigconf, double-blind review — confirm exact limits in the final CFP.

Poster, demo, and 3MT

Poster and demo submissions are usually one-page abstracts in the same style. 3MT entries follow the standard 3MT rules. Update this section with workshop-specific instructions.
